OT - Does anyone on the boards collect WW2 Memorbilia?

    I like this piece. Not really sure why. Maybe the color and design.

    It translates to The German Mother. I did figure that mutter was mother as we have German in our family line and actually remembered that one word but figured the rest out from searching.

    That Mother's Cross is beautiful. That's a fairly common medal but looks to be in great shape.

    You have quite an eye!! I believe those were part of my 1980 Topps fb vending case purchase. I have thousands of 1980 Topps commons if you're interested image

    I believe there is a website that someone has that sells and buys German helmets. I have seen it a while back and the nicer ones were going for a few hundred a least.

    I've seen rare/unique helmets sell for up to $10k. The problem w/ helmets is that many have been cleaned and/or modified post war which somewhat diminishes the value.
