    Once - submitted to NGC in August and then submitted to PCGS at Baltimore show in late November.

    I don't see a problem with slabbing that coin. It's a perfect "collector's grade". You guys should compare it to others that get slabbed.

    based on the pictures, I am surprised NGC bagged it the first time ...

    maybe they only like the stripped and dipped white stuff coming from their NCS factory?


    Seriously, I am not a koolaid drinker, but based on what I have seen in holders, this type of old cleaning
    and retoning has become market acceptable from both services on a fairly regular basis

    I like it, for what it is ... although it wouldn't be one I'd probably pick for my collection
