who owns ngc/pcgs/icg

could someone correct me if I have it wrong

NGC is 30% owned by the Heritage owners Ivy and Halperin and anyone else we may not know about
PCGS major stock holders are coin dealers like David Hall, John Danruether, etc
ICG is owned by National Gold Exhange

I read the nasty threads about the ICG's relationship with a coin company
what about these other grading services being owned by the mega coin companies and big national dealers?

I don't know about anyone else, but in my opinion any coins I have in a holder besides pcgs or ngc seem to command nothing more than raw prices. I don't know how other grading services exist besides ngc or pcgs to tell you the truth.

ANACS is owned by James Taylor and "Driving Force LLC"

Driving Force. A powerful and important sounding name. An adhesive vinyl logo for the door of the 900 square foot unit in the office park, and you are good to go.

Ultimately, it comes down to whether or not you believe in the skill and integrity of the graders.

I like ANACS for all the varieties they attribute but I won't PCGS prices for the grade on the holder.

I owned some of PCGS' stock at $11.90. I sold it at around $15.
It made me just enough to do a bulk submission. image
