If you could purchase either at exactly the same price, which would you rather have and why?
What is your reasoning?

and they are just as nice as a bar to store. you can sell them at your
own slow pace of 1 oz at a time and aquire in the same fashion.
seems rounds can fetch a higher premium when dealers sell them single
so maybe there is an opportunity to sell to a dealer at a slightly higher
price down the road. maybe...
that is about all there is to it.

Yup. Ten one ouncers usually sell for a higher premium that one ten ouncer.

Doubt I will ever buy another 1 oz. round that isn't an SAE. Would have to be a heck of a deal for me to even consider a Maple Leaf. Silver is silver, I know, but for whatever reason, there are TONS of people who think this way.
<< <i>Both choices being generic, I would choose the bar.

But one is only worth $US1 face value while the other is worth $CAN5 face value. Even with exchange rates it would be worth 3.5x the $US

<< <i>I went with the 1 10z bar because it is easier to count. if I get a 2nd then I'd just have to use 2 fingers to count them, but 20 rounds would use up all my fingers and toes and then I couldn't get anymore. >>

<< <i>rounds, when silver hits $100 it will be a lot easier finding buyers at $100 a pop than $1000 buyers. >>
If Silver ever hits $100 in our lifetime, which is highly unlikely, the dollar will only be worth 10 cents in today money. Therefore, it would not make a difference.
I'll stick with the 10 oz.
(2 --5's are cool 2)
What is the score????
GO 10 ouncers!!
