Must I?

Yes, I must. A week ago Friday I was promised my order would ship Monday. Well, no order Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (I'll give them Thanksgiving!) Friday (+ one day to digest!). I call today. After giving them my web confirmation number, order number, phone number of my first girlfriend (and her Mom), they finally find my order. "It is in the pile to be shipped out." Really? I heard that a week ago Friday. This blows. They promised to ship it out today. This is the sound of me holding my breath.

Customer service is non existent. So is my next order from TTD.


Horsemeat arrived today. They are pretty.

    Yeah, something for free. Like an apology for lousy service. No wait, I have had several of those but still nothing to show for my money. What I plan to do with them is not the issue.
    Customer service is the issue. I shouldn't be left Holding out for it, selling my soul to get it, or complaining to get some.
    I am frustrated and venting and letting others know as a warning about what I feel has been shoddy service. Now I'll relax.

    the main problem is that teletrade tells you it will ship on X and you
    come to find out later it will ship on X+5 days. they are basically over
    promising things and should just tell the truth.

    "we are very busy and behind on shipping. please allow us X days
    and we will email you when it ships. Please bear with us."

    is all most people expect.

    Ever heard of a company going bust and everyones money going with them? Guess you havent..Get real.. they should have sent the items upon receipt of payment. PERIOD.

    I've got some cheap metal for sale .. why dont you send me your money and then email me and we can talk about you getting it!image
  • Has anyone offered feedback on this issue to them. Maybe someone should send them a link to these pages.

    They are a fairly new setup on the bullion side. I remember when I first bought from them and linked it here.
    You guys were pleased with the first orders that went out. Maybe they are running more volume than they can
    handle.

    I know it is no excuse for poor customer service. So save your critisism on my opinion. Try complaining to Teletrade.

    Call and speak to Ian directly and let him know the issue you are having. Let him know you want to continue shopping
    with them but you want a honest answer to your shipping questions. Although the bullion side is seperate from the main Teletrade
    Auction. I am sure Ian can get an answer for you. Or at least find out where the weak link is.

    Over promise and under deliver seems to be more rampant in todays business models. I will continue to order from them
    because I like their prices and reasonable shipping charges for my smaller orders.

    Hate to hear you guys are getting the run around. Maybe when you guys quit buying thousands of ounces from them
    their volume will decline enough that I will get my smaller orders quicker....image
