    I belive pendant is Gold Plate. No k markings that I could find.
    It was fun for a little while , thinking I had found 14k or 18k!
    Oh, finding the 20 franc coin out here in California was interestingimage

    The 20 franc coin is cool. I have only found one French coin (it was a 20 franc like yours) in the 30 years of detecting I've done. Oddly enough mine was found in a housing project in Alabama. It was made of brass or something similar. I was a teenager and thought I had found a gold coin. It was exciting while it lasted. I was stationed in California for four years and detected at Beale AFB (close to Sacramento) while there. California is a great place to detect. Good luck in future hunts.
