Im exactly the opposite. I dont care at all for the 2 panda design. Notice that no 2 panda design makes my top 5. I think the 08 is the best of the double pandas, but probably wouldnt even make my top 10 overall. I really appreciate the "crispness" of a single panda. Two pandas makes the coins appear too "cluttered".

I don't collect silver pandas, but I'm headed off to PandaAmerica to see about buying one of these in silver - nice looking.
Edited to add: PandaAmerica won't have the 2009's in stock until middish-December. Bummer.

You can stop your collection at 2003 to exclude all the two panda designs that you think are lame. Just like you stopped your proof collection to not include the colorized issues that you could not accept as coins.

Scheduled issue date is today, Nov 28 (for both gold and silver).
If anyone knows a good way for me to order one in silver in time to put in my 13 year old son's stocking for Christmas, let me know. He's got the set....
