    Rare cards will always be rare. If anything, the prices for PSA 10 commons will come down as more people realize that some of their commons they cant give away may be worth something. A pop 1 card will never go down.....until it becomes a pop 2 or 3 or 4.

    If you believe the value of holdered cards is dropping due to the "economic recession looming larger by the day", then feel bad for your 401k first. A paper loss is a paper loss regardless of the investment.

    Unless you're looking to sell, it's irrelevant.

    I don't think the people paying big money for common cards for their registry sets are the ones greatly affected by the economic downturn.
