89 Fleer case had nothing exciting on top. Yes, I know the sequence. Scanned them but photobucket isn't working right. Only 2 Ripkens (both block box), 6 Johnsons (all total blackout) and 4 Griffey's.

Opened the 87 Donruss case. Only got it to try to find stars and rookies on top. This case is one of the cleanest I have seen. I only scanned two of the packs but also got 2 packs with Bonds on top and about a dozen others with nice HOFers or star rookies on top. Only opened one pack to get an overall idea of the centering and corners. They look sharp.
Really! Really! why in the dickens are you scanning rookies and error cards? Let's not lose focus here. We need Murphy's and only Murphy's. Without him this thread is useless, except for the fact that it is entertaining watching someone else's rips, but I digress.
Back to my point, without Murphy this thread is useless except for the afore mention notaion!!!
Put him in the HOF!!! Had to add that, I haven't typed that for awhile.
First box from 84 rack case was friggin awesome. Half the packs had at least one rookie or HOF'er on top not counting the 83 AS cards. Here are my 2 favs from the first box:
<< <i>Thought I would start with some of the cheap stuff. The 88 Donruss got boring really quick. Here are some of the scans out of 2 boxes of 88D. Take a look at these beauties:

P.O. holding a grudge against you? lol
I used to ship from this P.O. by my house until one day I was shipping out packages and the guy read the customs form and said "Oh, baseball cards !!, I collect those". We talked about them for a few minutes and I never shipped from there again.
I wanted to see a picture of you passed out in the middle of the living room floor, in your underwear, face down on top of a pile of empty beer bottles and pack wrappers. (not that I want to see you in your underwear) lol

Sucks. I've had bad luck with those lately too.
The two packs I wanted the most, I found:

I want that Mattingly rack.
Haven't thought about buying '87 Donruss. Always loved that set as a kid.

That poor Gary Carter card
<< <i>hey old man, how much was the 84' rack case? >>
Think the 84 Topps rack case was $140. Very clean and crisp.
1983 Topps cello sucked. Best card was a well centered Pete Rose.
