Card backs, your favorite!!

What card has your favorite back, any sport, any year.

I have always like the 1954 Topps back for BB. Loved the cartoon and the green colored on the top half. And good info on the player.

    ..........

    Yup.

    .....

I also like some of the Tiffany backs.

EBAY limits the number of those that I can list because they
have the word that must not be mentioned in the title.

I found this in some 1969 Deckle Edge cards. It is the only one like it in the set. I appears that someone put his 1969 decal on the back of his 1969 Deckle Edge. I love cards like this. I wish I could find that kid's whole set. He probably wrote a player's new team on his card when a guy got traded during the season.

Collector of 1976 Topps baseball for some stupid reason.
Collector of Pittsburgh Pirates cards for a slightly less stupid reason.

The ones shown at the Bill Ripken collector's website. Especially the one about one of the football players who enjoys drinking beer. image

EDIT: Oops, beat me to the punch. image

Isn't it ironic that as far as Mark Grace's SHUT UP AND PLAY shirt goes, it just so happened to be pictured on the 1994 UD set, the year of the strike? In fact, someone during the strike wrote to Beckett regarding that card and wished everyone felt the same way Mr. Grace did.

I love 71 OPC backs. They are nicer than Topps and totally different.

My favorite baseball backs are 1963, 1962, 1961, 1953, and 1952 for Topps. My least favorite are 1969 (that color - ugh!), 1965 (more ghastly color), 1967 (classic front, but not digging the backs), 1975, and 1964 (frequently those backs are so light I can barely read them). 1955 Bowman baseball is so inconsistent with all of the stories and lack of stats that I don't care for them either.
Successful dealings with shootybabitt, LarryP, Doctor K, thedutymon, billsgridirongreats, fattymacs, shagrotn77, pclpads, JMDVM, gumbyfan, itzagoner, rexvos, al032184, gregm13, californiacards3, mccardguy1, BigDaddyBowman, bigreddog, bobbyw8469, burke23, detroitfan2, drewsef, jeff8877, markmac, Goldlabels, swartz1, blee1, EarlsWorld, gseaman25, kcballboy, jimrad, leadoff4, weinhold, Mphilking, milbroco, msassin, meteoriteguy, rbeaton and gameusedhoop.
