We knew this was going to happen.

The self appointed forum police demand that we follow their beliefs.

"Lenin is certainly right. There is no subtler or more severe means of overturning the existing basis of society(destroy capitalism) than to debauch the currency. The process engages all the hidden forces of economic law on the side of destruction, and it does it in a manner which not one man in a million is able to diagnose."
John Marnard Keynes, The Economic Consequences of the Peace, 1920, page 235ff
  • If I were to offer something up on here, I'm afraid it would get yanked.

The fact is, I wouldn't want it to go to the BST forum.

So I'll take a wait and see approach.

The darkside (foreign coins) board has these all the time... I think they belong here as well. Whether we do them once a week or more often, fine with me. No one likes to wade through the whole general BST board looking for bullion.

I'll pay $1.00 over spot for up to ( 2 ) 100 oz Englehard bars. For larger amounts it will change from day to day. Best to call and confirm on larger amounts. Can also use 1,000+ older 1 oz silver art bars @spot-spot+$1.00+ ( really varies and will pay a premium for sets and yes I'll buy the sterling franklin mint stuff ) I can also use a bag quantities ( 1,000 pieces each ) of BU Morgan and Peace Dollars, ( 1921 Morgans are discounted) and 1 bag ( 1,000 pieces ) of Circ Morgans and Peace dollars. Quote me and I'll respond yes or no.

Huge interest in gold items of all types ( US and World coins, bars, rounds ) ranging from scrap to esoteric. Any quantity and able to write checks/send wire transfers well into multiple 6 figures on the spot or upon delivery.

Will buy all jewelry items. Price depends on quality, if damaged, broken, repairable etc. Big premium for larger size mine cut diamonds 1 carat and up. Interested in a wide variety of items in this category. Rocket fast pay.

I'll cover the insurance on express mail shipments to me if you follow the directions my insurance company has given me. Your responsibility is shipping costs. Period. If interested, send me an email EMAIL TOM with what you have, what you want for it and if you are ready to ship and wish shipping directions.

  • At first, I thought this thread inappropriate. But since PM posts have been kicked out of the US Coins Forum, it's only logical that a BST Forum for bullion should be created, since silver bars and the like are not coins, are they? I'm still fairly new here, so I don't know who "Carol" is, but why don't some of you suggest that to her?

24hGold devises trackers for real prices of gold and silver
Submitted by cpowell on Wed, 2008-11-19 20:55. Section: Daily Dispatches

Many of us precious metals watchers have been trying to find a way to apprehend the real price of gold and silver, the one us peons need to pay when we want to get our hands on the real thing.

The only worldwide non-Comex public pricing system is Ebay, so I have been working on the subject for quite a while to find a way to extract the price of gold and silver out of eBay.

Thus I have the honour to present you today 24hGold's two new pages:

Gold on eBay, U.S. and Worldwide:

    Gold page

And silver on eBay, U.S. and Worldwide:

    Silver page

    Here is how they work.

Gold and silver coins with offers on eBay appear on the page, listed by country. For each coin, you will find:

-- Its name, fine weight, and instant metal value.

-- The price of the last sales on eBay to track the price: average
price, premium over spot price of gold (or silver), the implied gold or silver value per ounce, and yesterday's average price for this specific coin.

-- The current offers on eBay in the United States and worldwide with the respective number of offers. You can click on the eBay buttons to get directly to the eBay page with all the coins for sale.

-- Various Ebay tools relevant to this coin: buy it now, newly listed, ending soonest, and completed listings.

There is also a search tool to start eBay directly if you are looking for something else.

Since eBay is different for each country, we have eBay pages for Canada, the United States, Australia, France, and the United Kingdom.

I hope that this tool will be useful to anyone who is interested in gold and silver and that it will help people get more physical in their hands, which is the key to wrecking the cartel.

I would be most grateful for ideas on how to improve these pages or new tools that would be helpful. You may contact me at:

  • 20 piece, 1 once silver rounds in tubes. These were made around 1992, I believe.

Have been sealed in tubes since being pressed.

$14.00 an ounce, buyer pays shipping/insurance. Do not want to break up tubes, so you're looking at multiples of 20 ounces here.

100 ounces or more and I'll cover the shipping/insurance.

I always ship priority, insured and signature required.

I've had these tubes sealed in 5 gallon buckets for a long, long time.

    PM me for details.

Also have a few 100 ounce Engelhards that I'll part with.
