I'm giving away a Penny Portrait kit!
My husband had this crazy idea to make an image of Lincoln out of Lincolns. (he also eats Philly cheesesteaks in Philly!) So, we created a kit that let's you do just that. The kit also includes a booklet with fun facts and info about Abe Lincoln, Lincoln pennies, coin collecting, chemistry experiments with pennies, impressionist art and optical illusions. Each kit also includes a 1943 steel penny.
It's a great gift for a budding numismatist (or a seasoned one!)
I've randomly selected a number between 1 and 100. Post your guess (only one guess per poster) and the lucky winner will have a Penny Portrait sent to them!

The pennies aren't numbered, rather the poster has images of actual size pennies on it. There are 4 distinct shades of pennies on the poster, so you just match up the pennies you find in the wild to those on the poster and glue them on.
You actually wouldn't need to glue pennies on if you didn't want to. From a few feet away, the poster looks like there are actual pennies glued on it. Gluing pennies on it does make for a cool shimmering/reflective effect though.
