I am a newbie that has recieved a ton of help, information and warm welcomes here and I want to try try to offer a little something back.

A while ago I had a thread about Euro coins and it got quite a bit of attention.

Now I am so new that I did not have anything worth "giving away". So I have purchased a little set of coins.

This is:

A presentation set of one coin from each of the 12 countries now in the EMU. The coins are from the "orginal" countries teneder and will not be producted again.

The set is in a triple fold-out sort of thing, the coins were presented as UNC, I am not sure but I beleieve that's correct as to quality.


Well I am posting this even if I now do not have the option of including an attachmet
t.....I don't know what has happened but my "attachment" box, below the meaasge is not there.

I will have to post two times to include my crude scans of the coins so have a look.

If anyone feels this is interesting all you have to do is reply to this thread. I truely hope some will find an interest in my small attempt to say....Thank 'Ya folks!!

    I could not use your link. When I clicks on it, it takes me to a page saying "that username/password is invalid". I'm sure they are nice coins, though! image

    WOW.....Thanks a lot for all that have shown an interest....my last count was 15 who think my little attempt is OK.

    Now I wish I had bought two albums....LOL

    The Giveaway will be open to ALL who are interested until Monday morning my time..that's Norway time...I think that is about 6 hours ahead of EST.

    I will put all names on a dart borad.....select my favorite dart......and chunk it (probably a few times before I hit the board)..and the winner will be "darted".

    Glad I have had a positive response to my small attempt at showing appreciation to you folks.
