IS this OT about Ebay ?

Ebay seems to have more popups now that are getting to be very annoying. The web is slow enough without them throwing all those garbage ads my way.

Has anyone found a solution to block them similiar to the solution that was offerered earlier on blocking the forum popups ?

If you have a solution, please share it with the rest of us forumites and ebayers. Thanks

    Yes, but short answer: firefox, nis2007 and noscript add-in. You can get the adblock add-in as well which will take care of the rest.

    Use FireFox and AdBlock, and presto, problem solved.
    I used to be somebody, now I'm just a coin collector.

    Using Microsofte IE you do not have to experience any block ups, enable your pop up blocker. Been on ebay for over eight years and have never had to see a pop up.

    About 7 or 8 years ago they cme out with a pop-up blocker.

    I don;t recall ever having a popup on eBay and I'm on IE 6 with the popup blocker enabled. Even with this feature enabled, I always get the option stating that a popup has been blocked but I've never seen this on eBay.

    I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    Well maybe he's referring to the stupid 10% coupon popup, I was yelling at my computer and this spinny thing appears and says: Be Patient......image
