I gotta stop going to CRO's website!

dohdoh Posts: 6,457 ✭✭✭
I get the early bird notification in my e-mail and I drool. I go to the website and I drool. I sit there and think to myself, "What can I sell to acquire this piece or that piece? I could sell this coin...or some blood...or maybe my car...." I mean, for my own safety I need to stop going to the website! Amazing coins.

Okay, rant over, sorry.

Positive BST transactions with: too many names to list! 36 at last count.

I just got the email, too. I need to hop on over to the site, but first, I need to run down to the cafeteria. Priorities, you know.

I love the CRO site. It has become my first coin seller site check every day (because I know JA gets up earlier than I do and updates the site first thing in the morning).

Main part of their website is the great quality of pictures. Really good.

Then off course, their early bird list is even better, even when you have to request the pictures. Bought one coin from them once, great serviceimage. Have been in contact for a bit of a longer time with JA and a person I can vote for.

A dealer to recommendimage. If they just had a few more Seated Half Dimes once in a while..

The best part is that they are great honest guys. A credit to the coin biz.

I just visited their website for the first time - and was looking through their archives. The 1912-S Liberty Nickel in PCGS MS64 is friggin' unbelievable!! I wish I would have seen that when it was for sale! WOZER!!

A few of my Box of Twenty, which has never reached twenty, have come from CRO. Luckily, Dave, John and I live close enough to one another that I get to see the inventory in-hand quite often.image

The only thing of CRO I never got to see is their famous station wagon they used to use to get to coin shows.

They probably bought it from Andy Rooney of 60 minutes (CBS news). That station wagon had to be close to 40 years old!

They also have real good solid collector coins. They fill a good middle niche of collectible coins with a few pricey (over $25,000) and a few very affordable (under $200) coins thrown in as well.

I have found them to possess solid integrity and a strong sense of fairness/reasonableness.

  • Wow, very nice stuff!
  • I have a coin on the way from CRO .... I can't wait to have it in hand. I can also say that John is a great dealer and a pleasure to do business with. image
