#2 If we go with a winning the division scenario, what would have to happen is either the Jets (@SEA) or Miami (@KC) would have to lose this week...and the team that loses this week would have to win the following week when they play each other.
#3 The only other scenario that gets the Patriots in is INDY losing twice (@JAX and TENN at home)
Like I posted in this thread after the Pittsburgh game, I just don't see a reasonable path to the playoffs. It's a better than average chance that if this Patriots team finishes 11-5, they would not make the playoffs because of conference record tiebreakers
Hey, I'm a Pats fan so this bums me out as much as anyone
Oh for the sake of all that is Holy, please don't let scenerio #3 work out. I'd puke.
I don't see the Patriots losing, their remaining two games is hardly a "tall order". Arizona couldn't win on the East coast when they were playing well. Now they've lost 3 of their last 4, with the only win coming against the Rams. Buffalo is playing as poorly as any team in football now after their good start. New England should finish 11-5.
The Colts play @ Jacksonville, who has historically played them very tough (they beat them at Indy this year already) and then they play Tennessee, the team with the best record in football. I was hoping Tennessee would be resting starters that week, but after yesterdays loss, they might need to win to get the #1 seed. Scenerio #3 is a real possibility.
If that does play out, does that mean the Colts are out or could they still slide in if Baltimore falters?

It is and it proves that NFL coaches including Bellichek are morons when it comes to managing huge leads late in games- Most of the key starters should be OFF the field right now!
Look at AZ, they get Warner out there but leave Fitzgerald in there. Its just stupid
Thanks Matt, Im not really excited because the Fish won. Silly me to think for a second that the pathetic Chiefs could actually offer any help by getting a win.

These scenarios all assume the Pats beating ARZ and winning @BUF (tall order)

Baltimore has to lose once (DAL or @JAX)
