This token was the first find made in my son's front yard.It seems that this "Jolly" token foretold of the cool finds that would soon follow.

These dimes were all found in the front yard. The Roosies are "D" mint, the Merc is a '45 S.The house was built in 1957 and the ground around it is thought to be original. Some Wheaties were found, too. The oldest was dated 1919.

This spoon was found on the North side of the house.I googled it and found that it is a Nobility Plate "5 o'clock spoon",Reverie pattern,1937.My son was not born with a silver spoon in his mouth so he couldn't have lost it.image

These two pieces, "6 cents," were found together in the local park. This park has obviously been worked heavily in years past so finding these was great fun for son and me.The nickel is a 1936 D and the penny a 1919 D.Maybe there's a '14 D to be found in this park?
