What is a fair price to ask for this slab collection of 1944 D Dimes?

I have enjoyed them long enough, now someone else will. What should I ask for the lot?

I seldom check PM's but do check emails often jason@seated.org

1944-D MS65 PCGS 2 "two piece" slab: $18.00 to $20.00 for the dime. The slab should bring a small premium, who knows. Almost as scarce as the doily, but not as sought after.
1944-D MS66FB PCGS "rattler": $45.00-$50.00 for the dime. Maybe another $5.00 to $10.00 for it being in the rattler slab.
1944-D MS65FSB ANA: $30.00-$35.00 for the dime, plus a premium for the ANA slab and assumption/expectation that it is going to be conservatively graded.
<< <i>A premium for the slab? Would you please explain? >>
For someone who collects rare slabs (not me in this case), his PCGS doily slab is going to be worth twice as much as the coin inside. The slab was reportedly only used for one month in 1989. If the dime were in a PCGS Regency slab, it might bring a couple hundred dollars, depending on who's bidding.

<< <i>What's the spread between a 6 & 7 FB & what chance is there that the coin is upgradeable? Is there any premium on these coins because they're in older slabs? I have a 65 FH SLQ in a 1st generation holder & it's worth a substantial premium because of it. >>
There are still a large supply of common date MS66FB Dimes in rattler holders available today and the vast majority of those coins are lustrous and solid for that grade. Rattler holder examples carry a premium of no more than a few dollars over the newest generation holders...I know because I sell them on a regular basis and most dates are never terribly challenging to find.
The major grading companies tend to be slightly hesitant in giving out the MS67FB grades often, that is considering how many common date Mercury Dimes are submitted for grading on a weekly, or even a daily basis. Currently there is about an $85 difference between MS66FB and MS67FB examples, which is miniscule with consideration to the level of difficulty involved with getting MS66FB's upgraded into MS67FB's. Take the 1941-S Walker half in grades of MS63 and MS64 for example. The financial windfall for upgrading an MS63 example to an MS64 grade is similar to that of the aforementioned Mercury Dime grades, yet upgrading a 1941-S from an MS63 to an MS64 is a much, much easier task to accomplish for the same amount of financial gain.
