Since I'm very impressed with Lincecum, I find it pretty fascinating that a "vintage kinda guy" like you would also have an interest in a guy who has pitched only a year and a half.
Yup, like you, I believe that Tim Lincecum is "the real deal" -- but, of course, only time will tell.

Oh, I'm not that vintage, I'm first and foremost a Frank Thomas collector. I have vintage projects...basically, Big Frank is on the verge of retirement...I need a new guy to follow for the next 20 years. I jumped on the Thomas bandwagon in '91ish and I never jumped off. The kid impresses me and I found myself saving his rookies in 2007...had to be for a reason.

My story is similar to yours. I'm first and foremost a George Brett collector. When Brett retired, I collected quite a bit of Barry Bonds stuff. Now that Bonds no longer plays, my focus is now on Tim Lincecum.
Less than 3 weeks until Lincecum is named 2008 NL Cy Young winner. WooHoo!!!
I warned you not to take the purple pills, now I think you guys scared him off.
