My 7yr Old Found This Today

I had been promising my 7yr old son I'd take him to the local coin shop for over a week. Today was the day. He was looking at all the normal "shiny" coins and bright silver but spotted this. I told him that coin might be priced above his budget. He asked the owner to price it and when 100 bucks was asked he jumped on it. That was exactly the maximum amount we had discussed before we went in. I'm tempted to repo it.




I had to tilt the coin some to get the color to show.

Nice looking coin. Isn't it great to see the kids get nice coins? My 6 yr old daughter is into coins also, but she has her eye on gold though. So far she has a 1/10 th oz American gold eagle, a 1/10 th oz Australian (2004 year of the dragon), and her most recent purchase, an 1882-S $5 U.S gold coin. This is in addition to her complete sets of other silver coins she has.

I had to fish around between the cushions on the sofa to get my pocket change. It was enough to keep me happy anyway.
