Tell me I shouldn't be paranoid about this seller/auction...

That's kind of what I'm afraid of...

There's nothing wrong with his feedback. Look at the actual situation, not the number.

No, and I wouldn't be too concerned about the f/b either.

Ok, it's not the feedback itself. It's the history of the feedback.

  • He just looks like an infrequent seller, maybe he just needed a grand for something. He has 2k paypal protection, I would buy it if I wanted it, using a credit card as usual with larger purchases.

I've seen FAR worse feedback profiles. When in doubt, I shoot the seller an
e-mail. You can learn a lot based on the coherency of the response. In this
case, I'd ask him to clarify his return policy as it relates to coins.

F/B would not be an issue for me ... the only neg that he received in the last 12 month was for: "found out it was out of stock" ....

Most buyers do not realize that ebay changed the way they calculate feedback, it use to be based on a percentage for the total account, now it's not, only the last 12 months. I have one account I havent used on ebay for over a year, my feedback went from 100% to 0%, Never had a neg or neuteral on that account, all the previous history over 12 months is useless now.

Looks fine to me, if I needed Peruvian gold.

I didn;t see anything that indicated he sold coins, just other stuff!
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.
