EBAY Unpaid Item Reminder

I just got an email from EBAY for an UNPAID ITEM REMINDER on an item that I actually received a few days ago. I did NOT click on anything in the email, and went directly to MY MESSAGES on my EBAY account and it was there too. How does that happen? A seller, after shipping the item, says I did not pay for it? I have responded with all of the PAYPAL info, etc, but it seems crazy.
Has anyone else ever had to go through that?

  • Yeah, just e-mail the seller, you paid and have it and say something like thanks for the fast shipping, meaning don't be rude.

The seller must have hit the wrong button.

Should be easy to clear up.

Make sure you don't get a NPB strike.

  • Seller just replied - he sent it to the wrong person. Someone else who won the same item never paid and it was intended for them.

When things don't seem right ... they usually aren't.

Always give the other person the benefit of the doubt when you're not sure of a situation.

It prevents unnecessary reactions and results.

You did the right thing by checking your My eBay Messages ... very important step.

Yes, it was the worst 2 minutes of my life. It happened on a Sunday and the local FBI office was closed. I didn't know what to do. I decided to contact the seller and he emailed right back saying he made a mistake. I contacted my lawyer the following day but he said I had no case and needed a full 3 minutes of pain and suffering.

2 minutes? He went through this ordeal for at least 35 minutes judging by his posts. You have no idea what suffering is.

That is clearly not his strong suit.
  • I askeda simple question to see if anyone had ever seen a spoof email like that, and got a few good responses, but the true D-ck, N-ick also had to respond. Thanks for your response D-ck. When your name was given, they mistyped the first letter.

  • That's just not right. You can't start a hangman game, erase the board and then start it again. I think we need federal regulation in hangman.
