However, once the series goes back to Saint Petersburg I just don't see the Sox winning both games.
You cant count the Sox out, they have proved that manny times but this year it's gonna be really tough.

Game 7 you start Beckett, then if he starts to get lit up, all hands on deck. And Beckett gets a short leash (i.e. yank him after only 2 or 3 runs given up).

Probably not. Doesn't make sense to pitch him on short rest. You have to win both games no matter what.
I personally would not go with Beckett. I would send out Byrd for the first three, send out Masterson for the next three,
and then go with Okie and Papelbon to finish the last three.
I would then pray that Lester could go 8 or 9 in game 7.

Lester is on normal rest by tomorrow, because of the off days.

About 5:55am I am awoken by my girlfriend shaking me telling me they won!

I wouldn't count any team out until the final out of the final game. The Sox have done it before and they certainly didn't give up last night and they can get it done. I would rather see the Rays beat them with a score of Rays 18 Sox 2.
Of course the odds are against the Sox, but anything can happen unless you are SteveK who has already bought airline tickets for Florida. lol
