Tell him this is against PP regulations. Go to Paypal user regulations and do a cut and paste in the section that states the return process. Tell him you are bound by PP's rules as he is. Use you PO employee again, you may be being targeted. You never know!

Solely on the issue of SNAD as it relates to PayPal and EBAY:
.....
EBAY oficially names the acceptable graders in their policies section:
Trading cards
Grade your trading cards with:
Beckett Grading Services (BGS)
Global Authentication Inc. (GAI)
Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA)
Sportcard Guaranty (SGC)
When handled correctly, it is almost impossible for a seller to lose - on appeal -
a SNAD that is based on a buyer trying to substitute his grading "expertise"
for that of an "approved" grader.
The same concept applies to coins, stamps, currency, and comics.
A buyer's disagreement with an expertised-grade does NOT form the basis for a valid SNAD claim.
..........

If so, why didn't you mention that fact in the listing?
A couple years back I knowingly bought a mis labeled card, got it for 50% of it's value too.
It was graded a 7, when I was selling my 65 topps set I threw the card in on a deal.
The 'buyer' sent it back to PSA for correct label and it was graded an 8!
Steve
he may want to use the card on the registery and can't.

<< <i>Storm..what is your take on the wrong label though? PSA stated it was a 1966, but I called it a 1964 in the auction and in the header....? >>

For our purposes, it's SNAD.
Conflicting listing terms/descriptions are construed in the light
most favorable to the buyer in a SNAD claim. The fact that the
buyer could have "easily seen" that the item was mislabeled,
is not a viable defense in fighting such a SNAD claim.
Just tell the guy to send it back, and refund him. Then try
again on the card. Keep it professional and stop communicating
with him if he refuses to return the card FIRST. Let him go to
PP and they will set him straight on the process.
Sadly, the buyer will likely leave a NEG.
his refund will be sent.
I assume you have more then 3 feedback.
Yeah I know ebay called me today, I picked up and hung up all in one motion.
I saw who it was on the TV.

Simple solution to your problem---add this to your next graded auction---"NO REFUNDS ON ANY PSA/GAI/SGC GRADED CARDS. YOU ARE BUYING THE CARDS AS GRADED BY PSA/GAI/SGC."
I'd tell him/her to poop in their hat and enjoy the new purchase.
I see a card, know it is a 64, I bid on it, Win it, I get it and the cert says 1966.
I can see that happening. Had the seller stated it in his description, then I'd agree and tell the
buyer to pound sand.
Steve
You say you submit alot of cards. Well then, submit that Mantle for a correction on your next submission since you will be sending stuff to PSA anyway.

Otherwise tell them to read the auction next time.
You are doing the right thing by accpeting the return on the label issue. If not for that I would tell him to jump on a 3rd rail.
