I justed listed a coin on ebay but...

it's not showing up on a search. I listed it about an hour ago and other coins, in the same category that were listed later are showing up. Any ideas?

Is it in your "My eBay?" If so I'm sure it will show up shortly.

It's probably defaulting to "Best Match". Sort by "Newly Listed".
    Just an idea.

It is, but if I list my auction by seller, it shows zero.

You must be on eBay's black list. Lock your doors, close your blinds and pray!

Welcome to the "New", "Improved" eBay with their "high dollar", preferred "Power Seller" search tools!
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

This is probably it. Mine show up almost immediately but I am a Platinum Powerscrewer. They won't tell you what but I bet the do some scrubbing of new sellers looking for scams. --Jerry
  • When you listed it, did they give you an item number? I think searches by item number show up immediately.

I can remember in the early days of fleaBay when it sometimes took days.

Hi Jerry, although I don't use ebay frequently (283 FB 100%) I've been buying and selling there since 1999.

Anyway, you guys were right. It's showing up now. Thanks for the comments.

Per ebay: it can take up to 8 hours to show up in a search. All depends on which server was pinged when the listing was uploaded.
