FYI ANACS and Roman coins

ajaanajaan Posts: 17,603 ✭✭✭✭✭
Some information for those of you who like to have your Roman coins graded and slabbed. I just got off the phone with ANACS and John, I have no idea John who, said they are now grading Roman coins on a limited basis. He said small submissions only, 1-5 coins, and you can add 15 days to their normal turnaround times.

  • ajaan - Did he say WHO was doing the grading / certification by any chance? I spoke with somebody at NGC a few months ago and was hoping they would get into the field.

JP Martin did the Ancient coin grading when he worked for ICG.
