"Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity"
  • I like them, with the exception of the HUGE NOSE on Harrison. My GOD that is a SUPER SCHNOZ

When he wakes up he can smell the coffee in COLUMBIA.
James Polk looks like he dressed like Count Dracula year round. lol

Of the 4, John Tyler will produce the best coins with some MS68's, possibly followed by Polk.

Harrison and Taylor will be difficult just to get MS67's as the designs are sharp, short areas which will generate tons of die chips!
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!

If these transfer to coins well then I think they are the best designs yet. Unfortunately I have rarely seen a line drawing transfer well so only time will tell. I'm enjoying the set so far in my Dansco Album.

Tyler and Polk, gotta love that mullet with a receding hairline look

I don't see anything that gives an immediate emotional reaction.

But, for some reason, when I scroll down and look at Lincoln sitting on a log reading a book, I cannot get an image of Yahoo Serious out of my mind.

Or is it Kramer from Seinfeld?

None of them even vaguely resemble art, just more dead guys making our currency even more boring. Cheers, RickO

Moving the In God We Trust (IGWT) motto off the edge and onto the obverse sure is hokey looking.
It almost appears as if we have deified the presidency, since the IGWT motto next to the president's chronological number, resembles, in a way, European coins with monarchs on them containing mottoes that say "By the Grace of God, (Queen/King) ..."

There are those on the boards that would say just in time for Halloween.

I agree with Becoka, the rendered designs are good, however it seems something gets lost in the translation (tranfer) to metal.

Agree, that looks terrible. Somewhere on the reverse would be better -- of course I did not have a problem with the edge.

I assume the William Henry Harrison will be available for only 30 days?

Agreed, but the good news is you won't run across any of them very often in commerce...

I think it's cool that dudes with bed-head hair could make it all the way to the presidency!

Four presidents in nine years...that must have been unsettling for the country.

Interesting similarities with the last three presidents...in the semi-profile, 3/4, and full view of face.

And one looks a little GW-ish...guess which one?

I think my idea would have worked better:

edited to add: I wouldn't buy this coin with your money!!!!
  • Well you can bet your ass it would cost him a mint if they did tax air.

    MY GOD WHAT A BEAK

Otherwise, I kind of like where the motto is. This could be a cool year for the small dollar. I have yet to see the new SAC design.
