Metal detecting the site of the Hartford Circus fire...

Does anyone that lives near Hartford, CT, ever detect there? I have the feeling you might get run out of town if you try, but wow, it'd be awesome to find some pre-'44 coins from the fire there.

Google Earth shows the site of the big top as one giant open field with a small plaque.

Site about the tragic fire.

    My Grandfather and Great Grandmother made it out of that fire. My Grandfathers sister didn't, Monica Miles, she's on the victim list. Thanks for the link to that site.
