I would LOVE to see a Phillie / Rays World Series for several selfish reasons.
1. No more Joe Torre stories (although I do love the man) 2. Goodbye Red Sox 3. Keep it on the East Coast. 4. I live closer to Philly then NY and enjoy how excited everyday people in South Jersey are for Philly. DISCLAIMER: Only because my Yanks $hit the bed)

You're 100% right - South Jersey is Philly fan area, for one reason among several reasons, there are many former Philly residents who live and work in South Jersey.
Thanks for the good wishes...it's been a long time since Philly has seen a championship from any team - We could certainly use one.

WinPitcher - Every single one of your sports predictions has been wrong and you've made dozens of them - Mathematically that's really quite an extraordinary achievement to be consistently wrong that often and I applaud you. So please, pretty please with cherries on top, PLEASE keep rooting for the Dodgers...that way I know the Phillies will win. Thank you very, VERY much.
As Gordon Gekko would have said about you if he knew you, as stated in the movie Wall Street, "If he was in the funeral business, no one would ever die" LOL
Around 3 hours to game time, and hopefully the Phillies will wrap this thing up tonight. But the nice thing is that there's no pressure at all because if we don't finish off the Dodgers tonight, we'll simply do it later.
wow, just wow. It has been 15 years. The Mitch Williams pitch is still fresh in my head. We are finally in position to banish that ghost. This team is for real. Hitting when we needed it and pitching when we needed it. I can't think of any players who didn't do their part. Sure there is Manny and there is Arod and Jeter and Vlad and Chipper, but Phils are a team and they are in the WS. 4 more baby!
Congratulations to the Phillies. You guys deserve it, and good luck in the Series..

It was a joke - The Phillies are about to win the NL pennant - nothing could aggravate me right now.
LOL
Kudos to the Dodgers and their fans - Great enthusiasm on their part!
