Play some Beach Boys music on the way over to Laguna - It'll help ease the pain. Ah Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha.........................................................................
Here's some Beach Boys lyrics to cheer ya up. ah Ha Ha Ha Ha....................................
"Sloop John B"
We come on the sloop john b My grandfather and me Around nassau town we did roam Drinking all night Got into a fight Well I feel so broke up I want to go home
So hoist up the john bs sail See how the mainsail sets Call for the captain ashore Let me go home, let me go home I wanna go home, yeah yeah Well I feel so broke up I wanna go home
The first mate he got drunk And broke in the capns trunk The constable had to come and take him away Sheriff john stone Why dont you leave me alone, yeah yeah Well I feel so broke up I wanna go home
So hoist up the john bs sail See how the mainsail sets Call for the captain ashore Let me go home, let me go home I wanna go home, let me go home Why dont you let me go home (hoist up the john bs sail) Hoist up the john b I feel so broke up I wanna go home Let me go home
The poor cook he caught the fits And threw away all my grits And then he took and he ate up all of my corn Let me go home Why dont they let me go home This is the worst trip Ive ever been on
So hoist up the john bs sail See how the mainsail sets Call for the captain ashore Let me go home, let me go home I wanna go home, let me go home Why dont you let me go home

It certainly looks that way SteveK, but I will always root for the Dodgers.
The Dodgers were looking good several times last night and seemed to do everything but secure the win. The game just never felt right last night as a Dodger fan............From Lowe in the first inning, to the umpire being inconsistant on the balls and strikes throughout the game (for both teams), Kershaw coming in and thinking he could throw 20 curve balls in a row, Park throwing one in the dirt and a walk, what a pitch to Matt Stairs (right down the pipe, perfect home run pitch) that home run was a shot and it seems like it couldn't have happened to a better guy, and then you got the current Dodgers closer Broxton.........He has some great stuff but he doesn't trust it yet and he NEVER throws hard & up and inside and couldn't get out of the inning unscaved. I can't really say much about the Dodgers hitting last night...They had the hits and 5 runs, but their pitchers couldn't get it done. They certainly can't be behind in the late innings during the playoffs when most of the teams have awesome closers.
Now the Dodgers have to win one game and get back to Phillietown and make the Phills play their best instead of giving them the wins.

I think you are stretching the truth as usual Joe. The game still had well over 52,000 people (MLB showed the game had 56800 people last night) and had the largest crowd in Dodger history the other night. The game was totally sold out but things happen. Out here in LA many of the fans can't make it to the game on time because of job restraints and traffic not to mention that it was a 5pm Monday night game. I'm a big Dodger fan, but I can't get off work until 5:45pm many times and it also depends on where I'm working at the time, which makes it impossible for me to make a game like that. And don't tell me I'm not a serious sports fan cause I couldn't make the game...I work in the movies and build the sets and we have to work on a very tight schedule and if we don't get our work done in time, we get replaced. Plus, we have big traffic on the freeways out here from 5am to well after 8pm at night. Lots going on out here. Yes it was a must win playoff game, but life out West is much different than many other cities.

That slipped my mind. The fires are everywhere right now and I'm sure that played into it. The one fire up in Porter Ranch is exactly where my dad used to take me when he was teaching me to drive back when I was 15.
My prayers to all of the firefighters, familes and everyone involved in the fire.

Lemme guess...Dodgers in 8
Matt Stairs: Well, I just do what I always do and try to swing for the fences and I was lucky to square one up.
LMFAO....Matt missed the fences all right, but almost hit building next door!
