Its difinitely 100% AT!!!!!! Just look at his other auctions, I have followed a lot of his cramp and it's all toned the same? NT, I don't think so. He also had a 63 Franklin in a pcgs slab with the same toning. I think he submitts alot of this AT material and every now and then some of it gets slabbed. Just because its in a pcgs slab doesn't mean its not AT.
Definitely NT, but not my cup of tea. Looks a little "burnt" if you ask me Walkers are one of the hardest to find with any color, let alone attractive colors...but even noting this fact, I would pass.

i bet the coin in hand is not as colorful and dark. if you have to angle a coin and get the lighting just so to see colors... it aint a rainbow to me.
i do not look at my coins and rotate them just so to get the feeling i have a winner. no sir. that is silly.
straight on or in a home with normal lighting that coin is probably mud brown with a highlight of color. not a rainbow. just notice the difference between these two pics alone.

Uh, yeah I think the key word is "burnt" -- look at what this guy sells. I agree it "looks" NT (aka "market acceptable") but I believe there is a good chance that this seller gave the coin a little "help" with some heat.
Need the following OBW rolls to complete my 46-64 Roosevelt roll set: 1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S. Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!
That is 100% AT.... I could care less about being 'slabbed'... there are many, many, many AT coins in slabs.... and more going into slabs all the time. Cheers, RickO
The 81S and possibly the 86 on page 2 of his listings are NT, but the rest are pretty bad. That being said, there are some things on that walker that make me think NT but I wouldn't buy it. Jeff
The seller pretty much sells nothing but AT coins. If that's a recent holder then I have no doubts the coin is AT. If it's an older holder than he may have picked it up at a show and it's most likely NT. If this coin was being sold by anyone else I would probably call it NT anyway which is the scary part.....but in this case....were there is a ton of smoke.....there's probably fire.

I think the circumstantial evidence points in that direction . . .
Come on you "100% NT" folks -- look at the sellers other auctions -- don't you think there is at least a possibility this is a cooked coin that got past the graders? It probably looks more "legit" beacuse there may have been a "base" of toning on the coin before it was cooked.

It appears to be a very nice coin.

<< <i>AT or NT? It does not matter if its in that slab.
Matters to me, I look at the coin, not the color of the plastic. JMHO

colors from a picture. Personally, I think the toning looks
splotchy. I would watch the coin carefully, to see if the
colors darken to a muddy brown over the next 6-12 months.

A little too dark for a big premium.

Edited to add: What the hell is with these google ads? I haven't been here in a while but it sure looks ghetto with all these google ads.
