TT’s $100 off sellers fees promotion has me thinking seriously for the first time of sending in some duplicates for auction. I’m thinking of sending in a handful of widgets that I figure would go for $60 or less but also two better coins that would sell for roughly $350 and $500 respectively.

With the economic uncertainties and the proclamations on these boards about forthcoming bargains and fire sales, would you send these types of coins in for consignment now? I don’t have any immediate need for cash. The timing would be entirely driven by the TT promotion.

I wouldn't bet on any fire sales. Coin prices went up throughout the 1970s, the toughest economic times that I ever expect to see.
