Oops, I committed a felony....

About a month ago I bought a couple of "replica" coins out China for about $5 delivered. I just wanted to see how they looked, and if they would fool anyone. The quality was poor enough that 85% of collectors would not get fooled by these (1926-S Buffalo). I thought that I would use one as a pocket piece for awhile and see how it looked. Somehow I inadvertently spent it during the last few days.

I guess we'll see how effective I was at passing counterfeit coins. Now excuse me while I go look out front and see if the Secret Service is here yet.....

Edited to add that they were NOT marked REPLICA

    To commit a felony you would have needed specific intent. As you spent the fake by accident you're in the clear.

    did they offer the chinese grading division of pcgs (Peoples of China Grading Service of course)slabbing with a bean tossed on them too for $9.95
