How many questions will Longacre ask today?

I say at least 5
...and I do wonder... does he ever read all the responses to his questions?... usually, unless it is answered by RYK, he rarely acknowledges the replies...
...sometimes I imagine him... in deep contemplation... poring over esoteric numismatic literature... nervously glancing up every now and then... to make sure the "Man" or one of his lackeys does not catch him "goofing off"...
...and stopping now and then to fire off another of his ponderously intellectual queries...
...of course, there is also the image of him in his leisure time... sipping on a Cognac in his study at the Manor... and dictating his questions to Consuela... while Mrs. L takes in a day of shopping...

Re: Slabbed coins - There are some coins that LIVE within clear plastic and wear their labels with pride... while there are others that HIDE behind scratched plastic and are simply dragged along by a label. Then there are those coins that simply hang out, naked and free

This should be a poll

We have a few members now that love to see themselves post these threads.
Maybe a new "Circle of Inquiry" has been formed.....
I am waiting for the "How many bars did you have on your cell at 9:35 this morning? thread...
Bet that one would get over 50 replies...
edited to add....as for RYK and Longacre...I believe that when RYK sneezes in one state - Longacre says God Bless You in another state,
and when Longacre passes gas, RYK blushes.....
I'll go over if that be the case!
Its funny but I was just thinking about the same question...........

I for one like his questions as they really make you think about certain situations. I think he would be a better criminal defense lawyer than the tax man, he does a great job putting the "What if's" and "doubt" into anything.

There does, indeed, seem to be a symbiosis there...

..................i think i'll go and get a refill on my beverage.
I typically do read all of the responses, but don't respond usually to the comments.
PS. That RYK sneezes comment was hilarious.

<< <i>Even I don't know, but I will let you in on a little secret-- most of the original questions are drafted off-line, rather than through the PCGS system. It saves a lot of time. Depending on how perceptive you are, you can tell which ones are written off the cuff, and which are written at my leisure. I typically have a store of questions.

First of all...I do hope you realize that "poking fun" is considered a high form of flattery by many cultures in the world...
We do enjoy your posts...
It's just that some days I find myself taking the time to post an appropriate response to one of your queries... and by the time I'm done, there are two, three or even four more questions posted.... and I sometimes wonder if it is even worth the time to get involved...
Many of your questions are truly worthy of exploration...but when there are a barrage of questions...it seems to dilute the discussion(s) on all of the threads... not to mention they have a tendancy to sink quickly with the many added threads...

I bet if Consuela looked like that Longacre wouldn't mind if she swiped a book or two...
Lets face it. Sometimes, I ONLY read these boards just to view his questions. More often then not, they are outstanding, sometimes they are just well, you know, not to be believed.
