CNBC Just said mint to stop selling gold Coins????

Is this true? They were talking about the bailout package and the girl said this. Went to mints website and they are still for sale. Only heard her say this as matter of fact. Can't find any info on it. Anybody else her this?

Maybe they said that you were to bring your gold coins to the mint.

It's difficult to buy physical gold at the listed prices (Oh, you mean you want us to deliver an ACTUAL COIN at that price?) There is almost a two-tiered system with as much as a $20 to $50 premium on some 1 oz gold coins if you want one actually delivered instead of a bookkeeeping entry.

If the FED were in control of the USMint this is what they would like.

It's only a matter of time. They just screwed every American out of trillions which from an individual standpoint equals tens of thousands of dollars ( every man, woman and child ) so as to make sure the money flow INTO this country from foreign governments and investors continues.

At some point the Chinese are going to get wise and cut their losses and pull all of their money in Fed Funds. With the economy slowing, imports from China will slow too, so they have no vested interests in continuing to prop the US government with money.

From what I've heard...the Mint is temporarily suspending sales of the business strike Buffalo's because their supply has run out. They will resume when their supply is replenished. They also decided several weeks ago, to suspend sales of the proof AGE, so that they may use the available gold for the business strike AGE........ Got to keep those bullion dealers in business.

They said the mint will suspend Buffalo's gold coins because the supply was out.

It did not mention other gold coins, I think it was on CNN.

  • So far theyre still selling them. Maybe now is a good time to order if you still have not done so...but then again they might just cancel the order if you do place one tonight.image
