Are people getting weird with their shipping methods, or is it just me?

I just got a package from an ebay'er containing almost $1,000 worth of crusty busties, with nothing but delivery confirmation. I had to write them an email telling them what would have happened if I had happened to be dishonest. Now that I think about it, people seem to be getting more and more bizarre with their shipping methods. I got a $225 Bust quarter last week from an ebay'er who sent it certified in a plain business envelope, with the edges torn halfway open. It's as if I've entered some sort of alternate postal reality. Someone pinch me.

<< <i>I've gotten to the point that the only way I like to ship is Priority (about 9"x5" box) with Insurance and Delivery Confirmation. It is a little more expensive but I think it's a safer way to ship than the bubble envelopes and way, way better than an envelope.

I agree and very similar to what I do. You can get the boxes from ebay for free and in my listings I basically split the charges with the buyers so they don't feel like they are getting ripped off with high postage charges.
