You know, this gets tiresome. If you want "VCP help", buy a friggin' subscription. It pops up on this board several times a week, "I need VCP help" blah blah blah. Why should board members who have subscriptions subsidize those that don't?

As a modern graded card collector, I don't see any logic is subscribing to VCP. I do understand how it can help someone working on a vintage set, but very few modern PSA cards have established values.
Let's take for example my Young collection. Paying $180 a year would be of no help. It would mostly just show what I paid for the card if listed. There are 3 cards I would always be interested in seeing the Steve Young data...but for the VCP subscription price, I could buy 1/10 of the basic set in PSA 10.
Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards. Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.

Would you buy a SMR subscription to look up one card?
Me either.............. If you dont want to help, then dont. Some people dont mind helping others.

Seems quite unlike you.... Maybe he didn't feel like shelling out $99...errrrr.... $179 to find the answer to his question.... Maybe the next time someone wants opinions on their "great finds", we should reply with--"What do we care? Just send them in to PSA."
