......it would depend on a few things.

1. the size?

2. what type of wood?

3. is the felt liner inert to contamination?

4. is the construction dovetailed joints?

that looks like a gershner machinist tool chest and not a coin cabinet but can be used as one

they used to be like $400 in the early 90's

they are very common in machine shops

my bad it's gerstner...i knew it was close anyways...one of the finest cabinets you'll see though...looks like they trade a tad bit lower these days too

I have a gershner knockoff like this, not as nice, but functional that I picked up for $50 that I keep on my desk/photo area to keep cheap coins and supplies in. --Jerry
