A "BE Patient" recommendation pays off ...

I have been waiting patiently AND Impatiently trying to locate the right specimen to complete my 1950 Proof Set so I can Multi Holder it. I refused a few Roosevelt dimes as I did not think they matched up to the grade on the Holder. This coin arrived from Heritage ( I haven't paid for it yet ) today and am awe struck by its strike and color.

The torch is indeed a yellow hue ( an olympic omen ) and the trees are actually turning color like in autumn hahahah ... I love this coin ... Your thoughts ...

It was worth the three month wait to find it and it is a top pop at PF68 too

I'm glad you found one that makes you happy! That looks to be a pretty one too. Congrats!

  • Thanks for posting it. I have never really seen a Roosie that I liked posted on these boards. They usually seem to have good color but mushy strikes, and I just never 'get' them. This coins looks to be all there and then some. It is beautiful.

And exactly how did you do this?
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

Nice coin, I am sure the pictures do not do the colors justice.

Three months? Heck, I thought you were going to tell us you had waited 5+ YEARS for the item you were seeking. Three months hardly constitutes being patient. image

None the less, that Roosevelt is truly beautiful to behold and I'm sure it looks even better in-hand.

    Congrats!
