Ichiro got his 200th hit tonight. This is 200+ hits in 8 straight seasons and 1792 hits for his career. Do you think he wants/has the ability to stick around for 6 more seasons to reach 3000? and rightly so. Ichiro pales by comparison to folks like Arod and Pujols, who is without a doubt the best hitter in either league. Ichiro isnt even the best leadoff hitter in the A.L.
