...looks like he led himself in batting average in 1987.
Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.

That's funny either way. I wanted to send in some intentionally damaged FF cards to GAI when they were labeling "1st graded" as I liked that addition and to have alot of the versions all marked 1st and to be the lowest grade would be a neat addition. Write www.billripken.com on a FF card and get it slabbed.
Maybe crease it and circle and write "crease" in red around it.
you got the grader o' death.
I'd enjoy a breakdown of everything that was done to it.

me too. i'll check my server...

THAT is a thing of beauty!! I especially love the MK on the back!! Worth every penny! You're inspiring me to grade the Fleer Ripken rookie that I carry around in my wallet. It's the first Ripken card I've ever owned, so it's pretty special to me. It would look sweet slabbed!!
EDIT: You should make that your avatar!
nam - great idea about autographing it. i'll have to do that on the next one. i have 2 more prepared but i am debating on renewing my subscription.
arny - nice eye on the centering. the centering was the longest portion of this project in regards to time. i went through every one of my 1988 donruss and picked out the worst centered ones i could find. then i went through them again and picked out the most worthless card of those
1989FlerrBill... - the card itself was from my childhood collection but it was nowhere near this damaged. it had soft corners all around since all of my 88's were well handled. i got the idea from another board members thread when he posted a (i think) PSA5 of an 87 fleer basketball card. i figured i could do better and i had a sub already ready to go... another $5 for some fun seemed reasonable. i folded it into a paper airplane (a poor one i will admit), dipped it in water that had oil in it from cooking fish, tore it, crumbled it up several times, took an eraser to the back to make some "paper loss", threw it around the room like a frisbee for a few days, banged the corners on the coffee table and finally write MK on the back to give the grader even more of a laugh and to guarantee the MK qualifier
billwalton - it was actually kind of tough to get it into the card saver. i had folded and smashed it so many times that it felt like a piece of cloth. so, i basically smashed it into the card save and then tried to straighten it out once it was in there. i put a value of $0 on the sub.
I have 2 more cards already prepared for this ridiculous collection (I made all three at the same time). One is a very interesting FF variation that I guarantee 1989FleerBill hasn't seen

Oh, Do tell !!!
Can I piggback 2 intentionally jacked up FF cards with your next sub? (That is if it's the $5 special)
<< <i> The funny thing? I wouldn't be surprised if you got $100.00+ for the card if you listed it on ebay. In other words ... card value $0.00; novelty value ... immeasurable. >>
That's true Jack. I bet you could put down this card is a very low pop, probably Pop 1 of 1 in that grade with the MK.
Good stuff!

looking for low grade t205's psa 1-2
88 Donruss are hot right now, check out this completed auction.
That card is a 17 pop. Yours is a pop1 and will probably stay that way, far more elusive for the determined collector.
