"The Official" Red Sox Registry / Pictorial Thread

I have been a HUGE Sox fan for as long as I can remember. I swear I practically grew up in the Right-Center bleachers! Being a collector for as long as I've been a Sox fan, I want to see everyone's prized possessions. To start things off here's one of my most cherished cards. My mother bought it raw for my 13th birthday, and I had it graded a few years back. Enjoy!

Crap, I hate having to follow Anthony's posts with my measly cards. Nonetheless, here's a CJ Hooper - a favorite of mine...

Great card Scott! I think Hooper is one of the tougher CJ's.

Thanks - I need to get it re-holdered so it doesn't slide around and fits snugly like your CJ's...

Thanks, I thought so too! If you were watching it on eBay recently, it probably was the same one 'cuz that's where I bought it from. Only about $20 with shipping.

I know I already put my '64 Conig up but I need to show it with the rest of them. I am only missing the '65 and the '66 in PSA 9 to complete my set! If anyone can help, or upgrade anything from my set please let me know. Thanks -K

thought that I would finally post a few picks. Some of the unopened has been posted before.

The Ted Willams litho "Homerun" was done by Armand Lamantagne, who is a famous sculptor from Rhode Island. There are only 2 in existance, and mine is #1. The litho was given to Barry Halper by Armand and it hung in Halper's house for sometime before he died. It was put up for auction by his estate in 2005 and I won it in a Robert Edwards auction. It is a fabulous piece! The signature is about 9 inches long. It was one of Halper's favorite pieces, so said his wife, and that is why it was not sold until years after his death, per his wishes. It is a remarkable piece, real museum quality. I have 35 diffferent signed williams pieces, and it is by far the best. I do not know where the 2nd litho is located.

I recently bought some beautiful 1974, 1975, 1976 and 1980 topps raw lots, and would be happy to pull the Red Sox and sell them as a lot to any of you Red Sox Nation fans. Also, a 70 or so card lot of minty fresh 1981 fleer with stars. The topps cards are nm-mt from vending, and the 1981 fleer are mint. Some are Mint with slight centering issues. Really nice pack-fresh stuff. Basically, I will pass them on at what I paid for them. The less Sox in my collection, the better. Ha ha!

PM me. There probably are about 45-50 Sox total from 74-76 and 50 from 1980 topps. Tiant, Cecil Cooper, Cepeda 1974 topps. Maybe even a Carbo or a Drago....In 1980, all the stars are there. Rice, Yaz, Pudge, Alan Ripley.

Not trying to spam (although it will seem like it), but here's a neat Red Sox poster that will be available in the near future. The cards used are mostly mine. I just thought you Red Sox guys might like to see it.

I borrowed this scan from David Levin's website but only to show off a Red Sox card of the Yaz rookie that is extremely rare.

    ouch!!

(not) very funny on that Buckner card!

A few eyars ago my daughter was only 6 and I was going thru some Red Sox cards. I saw an '87 Fleer Buckner card and got so pissed I rippe dit intl 20 pieces/ My daughter did not understand my anger, so the next day she taped all the pieces together to form the card again...very funny and I still have that taped card.

And I have forgiven Billy Buck since 2004!
