    renman I like your idea but I'd hate to lose an ounce of silver but it would be nice if I was right and got many ounces of silver.

    Unfortunately, Ike didn't wreak as much havoc and disaster as I was hoping so gold won't spike as much as I was hoping. image [/sarcasm]

    I think the damage from Ike is going to be the refineries, and not so much the oil plats, so it may spike early week, and the dollar also took a good hit friday which may send it up early week. But by weeks end it will end up about the same 751.00 g 10.85 silver

    Silver and gold up BIG on Monday due to Ike and general paranoia about fuel supply domestically.
    Won't last though...trend still down.

    Gold and Silver up slightly Monday, similar to last Friday. Slow downward trend the rest of the week.

    09/21/2008 Close:

    GOLD: $770.20

    SILVER: $11.05

    The big price jumps (+10%) should come in November.
