I seen a picture of offshore wind/electric generators and talk about eyesore, and looking

You must have a great set of eyeballs .... Most of the new of shore drillings are miles from the coastline...

If the rigs look like they will fail, the FED/PPT will knock gold or oil down first to cover the ensuing rise. They are in full battle dress until the November election. They might not be able to knock gold down any further, but they don't want to see $850 gold either before election time.
Doesn't matter what the ramifications are by their actions. They will burn down the barn if needed to "save the horses."

Thats exactly my point, the oil rigs are miles from shore
and you would have to use a telescope to see them.

Yet these windmill generators were not far off the beach
front, and they were a nightmarish vision at the least.
not just one rig but many many many mills, grinding the
seagulls to fish food.

The anti-oil crowd won't or haven't mentioned those issues
though, at least not that I have read.
