Gorgeous 1995 Silver Proof Panda NEWP!

Just got this one in the mail today. Simply awesome coin. Will most likely 69DCAM at PCGS. A crazy ebay seller has one for sale in that grade at a mere $2,500! Talk about optimistic!!! More realistic value is in the $500-$800 range for a PCGS 69DCAM.

    For Bullion??? image
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

  • Back in 2006, an eBay seller (china-goldcoin) had quite a few of these available for $105.00 (March) and $108.00 (April). They did not sell quickly. The 1996 silver proof pandas were selling for $98.00 (March) and $118.00 (April).
  • I paid $425 for this piece, and that was a "deal"! image These coins are becoming very very high demand, and prices are reflecting this.
  • The 1995 PCGS PR68DCAM silver panda proofs have been selling for around $450 recently. A "69" on your coin would be sweet. Good luck.

Most of the silver panda proofs have seen steady price increases especially those in PCGS holders. They are unaffected by the silver price drop as is logical. This is not true for the more common date gold pandas.
  • Very true....all but a small handful of the gold pandas rise and fall in value with the rise and fall of gold prices. I assume this will almost always be the case for some of the most common issues (1985, and 1987 come to mind). However, the keys and semi keys....1982, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1998, and 1999 seem to be far less affected by spot price swings.
