Which is a better buy?

I have the opportunity to buy:

a. 40% Silver at $11.86/oz

b. ASE 15.95 each

Which is a better buy if I want to hold onto them when silver goes up to $14/oz.(assuming it does)

  • I would go with the ASE.... But I don't care for 40%....Kinda like a war nickel to me....

I'm looking to see which is a better return on my money. Is that a better return on my money?

  • ASEs should always carry a premium. Unless they are in crap condition... You can almost always
buy 40% at or under melt...

This opinion is based soley on my personal transactions only....

I know I have yet to find an ASE for spot price... I guess it would also depend on the QTY of 40%
    you are talking about...
  • 200 40% halves

  • If a person is interested in playing a move in silver from $12 to $14, neither option will net much if any profit.

So I vote #3: do nothing until a better deal, or a better price arrives.
