I know it's not the most spectacular ever... but... your thoughts on this coin?

Nice strike, fine color, but too many little carbon spots for me.
Here's how bad I am at grading these right now.....I would have thought, from just the pictures alone, that it was high-end XF to low-end AU.
Never would have thought it graded what it did.
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
i'm even a lil surprized it holdered
<< <i>my thoughts..how did that ever land in a ms holder? >>
yes... I am a bit perplexed on this coin...
This was from my grandpa's collection... i sent it in just cuz and I was a bit surprised myself... but... there is a fair amount of luster in the coin... maybe it was a toss up from AU - MS?

But then again, the person who graded it, is a professional who gets paid alot of money to grade coins everyday. I'm sure he knows something that I do not.

I guess consistency is too much to ask for.
.........very nice coin! i am a little surprised on the grade too, it appears something slid across his face..
Nice color and strike - the reverse is hammered!
Looks to be market graded as a 62. Probably a AU58 Super Slider!

I would have pegged it as AU58 but it has tones of luster so maybe PCGS is chalking the wear up to stacking friction on the high points.
But I wouldn't kick it out of bed even if it was eating crackers! Nice coin.
