I already e-mailed Gayle with the requested additions. You are correct, Winston Hill getting another vote wouldn't help anyway.
I will make sure he is on the initial ballot for next years vote along with any others who received at leats 2 votes.
Thing about Hill is that he was never once selected as a first-team All-Pro even though he played in the AFL on the first AFL team to win a Super Bowl. Other AFL'ers like OG Walt Sweeney or even QB Jack Kemp have better resumes than Hill.
For players who played the majority of their career's and had most of their success in the AFL, there might be a couple more of those guys in the HOF down the road, but if I were ranking them:
1- Johnny Robinson 2- Jim Tyrer 3- Ed Budde 4- Rich Jackson 5- Walt Sweeney 6- Larry Grantham 7- Winston Hill
Would be pretty surprising to see 5-6 more AFL guys elected to the HOF...They've already got:
Lance Alworth Bobby Bell George Blanda Willie Brown Buck Buchanon Nick Buoniconti Len Dawson Don Maynard Ron Mix Joe Namath Jim Otto Billy Shaw
AFL was only an 8-10 team league that lasted exactly 10 years..To already have 12 players in the HOF is pretty well represented IMO.

I'm here to question, not to inspire or build up. To live how I want, as I see fit, according to my values and my needs. Nothing holds dominion over me, I stand alone as the ruler of my life.
