Seems a bit hi for this key DDO. Someone wanted it, or was shilled.

Still in the ARMY SNMAN? Worked with troops in the 1st Armor in Desert Storm. Had friends that were stationed in Wiesbaden, tankers.

Nice to be protected by M1A1's, the elite in ground combat.

I don’t think it was a shill bidder. I have been the underbidder to “g0lden.g00se” on several occasions to different sellers, generally for gold coins. If “g0lden.g00se” wants a coin, he/she usually gets it at any price.

  • I've seen MANY REDS less RED and think the price is not too far out of line with the color.

    One example:

Compare the above DOG with the below:

This coin WILL find it's way into a RD holder one day.

That is one UGLY 63RD. Since it is no longer RED (IMO), will PCGS buy that back?

    Thanks,

Judging by the images, the coin in question is RED

  • IMO it could go RD on any given day.

    SNMAN:

They already did but FAR below market value (at the time). Last 63RD at Heritage before mine went for near 6k or so.

Let's just say that I was made to feel like I was taking PCGS's first born in getting that check and the REAL market value of what a properly graded 63RD did not come into play AT ALL. image
