Medals and Exonumia

Two of these items even appear to come from the US...

The deep relief on this non-numismatic metal item is fascinating to look at. About 4 by 2.5 inches. No idea what it actually is, but I like architectural themes set in metal items.

This is an even deeper relief medal. Unusual reverse. 51mm.
Eugene Sue, French Novelist. 1804-1857. I don't know much more about it.

L' Arc De Triomphe. The interesting finish on this non-numismatic metallic item attracted my eye.

I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

Concordia MO. Not far from KC MO ... been there a few times as a teenager during the 50's and early 60's, while I was living in KC. Although the Medal says St Louis! ? ... No wonder, I could never find the campus image

  • I like them all, but that first one is fantastic! The detail is great. Thanks so much for posting the images.
